About MES

The Military Engineering Services (MES) is a Pakistan Army Corps, responsible for the construction and maintenance of structures and facilities used by the Pakistan Armed Forces. The MES is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of military buildings, roads, bridges, airfields, and other infrastructure. The MES also provides engineering support to the Pakistan Army, Navy, and Air Force, and is responsible for the construction of barracks, mess halls, training facilities, and other military-related structures. The MES also plays a role in providing engineering support during natural disasters and emergency situations. The MES is headed by a Lieutenant General, who is appointed by the government of Pakistan.
